Magic: The Gathering beef sticks are now a thing with 15 MTG card flavors

Magic: The Gathering has officially entered the beef stick business, with 15 different flavors inspired by the trading card game. And in true MTG fashion, there's even some RNG involved in which ones you get.

The unusual collaboration comes from Mythical Meats, a company known for selling fantasy-inspired snacks, including dragon jerky and exotic meats.

Its latest lineup takes inspiration from Magic's five basic land types and ten Ravnica guilds, turning them into individually wrapped beef sticks.

But here's where things get interesting. Rather than simply choosing your favorite flavors, customers can purchase a $30 variety pack containing ten randomly selected sticks.

Much like cracking open a booster pack, there's no guarantee you'll get exactly what you're looking for. The company even warns that specific flavors and all ten guilds aren't guaranteed.

Imagine hoping for a powerful Rakdos pull, only to end up with a mouthful of Plains.

All 15 Magic: The Gathering beef stick flavors

The lineup features some surprisingly creative combinations.

The five basic lands are represented by Original (Plains), Teriyaki (Island), Peppered (Swamp), Habanero (Mountain), and Garlic Parmesan (Forest).

Meanwhile, the ten Ravnica guilds get considerably more adventurous.

There's Apple Cheddar for Azorius, Landjaeger for Orzhov, Chipotle Lime for Boros, Honey Brown Sugar for Selesnya, and Bloody Mary for Dimir.

The remaining flavors include Sriracha Honey (Izzet), Spicy Jerk (Simic), Smoky Cherry (Rakdos), Mango Jalapeño (Gruul), and Spicy Dill Pickle (Golgari).

For players who don't want to gamble on their lunch, individual sticks are available starting at $3.50. There's also a $15 Lands variety pack that guarantees all five basic land flavors.

This isn't actually Magic's first venture into the food world. Back in 2023, the game partnered with IHOP for a promotion offering rewards in MTG Arena.

Mythical Meats is no stranger to tabletop games either, having already released a Dungeons & Dragons range featuring exotic meats like yak, alligator, and camel. However, all 15 MTG flavors are made from beef.

At least with these booster packs, even your worst pulls can be eaten.
