Octoplay goes live with Napoleon in Belgium, deepening Superbet Group tie

The deal gives Octoplay its most prominent Belgian operator partner yet, as the Malta-based studio adds scale in one of Europe’s most restrictive iGaming markets.

Belgium’s iGaming framework, which standardised the minimum gambling age at 21 in September 2024 and caps player deposits at €200 a week, remains one of the most demanding supplier entry points in Europe. Octoplay went live with Napoleon Sports & Casino on 16 September 2026, bringing the studio’s full slot portfolio to the Superbet-owned operator’s Belgian player base.

Napoleon integration extends Superbet Group relationship into Belgium

Octoplay has gone live with Napoleon Sports & Casino, one of Belgium’s leading online operators and a brand owned by Superbet Group since 2021. The integration makes Napoleon the studio’s primary Belgian operator partner and the latest move in a commercial relationship with Superbet Group that began in January 2026, when Octoplay launched with Superbet in Brazil — its first entry into South America.

The Napoleon go-live is notable partly because of where it sits. Belgium has implemented some of the strictest iGaming player-protection rules in Europe, including a near-total ban on gambling advertising in force since July 2023, a €200 weekly deposit limit per account introduced by royal decree in 2022, and a minimum gambling age of 21 across all games of chance since September 2024. Regulatory compliance infrastructure is consequently a prerequisite for any meaningful operator relationship in the market.

Octoplay holds a Belgian licence and has operated in the jurisdiction since 2024. Napoleon’s scale gives the studio broader reach there than its existing Belgian integrations have provided to date.

Pace of expansion in 2026

The Napoleon deal is part of a sustained run of operator and market additions for the studio. In the first half of 2026, Octoplay went live with bet365 in the UK, SkillOnNet across its UK brands, and Midnite in an exclusive branded-content arrangement. The studio also co-developed its first operator-exclusive title — Midnite Express — a hold-and-win slot built specifically for the UK operator’s player base.

Across North America, Octoplay secured a conditional licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission ahead of Alberta’s market opening in July 2026, adding to existing presences in Ontario, New Jersey, and Michigan.

Napoleon is positioned within that expansion pattern as the most prominent Superbet-group brand Octoplay has yet integrated with in Europe, and the deal signals that the group relationship, initiated commercially in Latin America, is now tracking across the parent company’s full European portfolio.
