Reincarnation Insurance Program Launches Version 1.0 on Steam; New Trailer

Publisher 2P Games and developer WarmCore Studio have announced that R.I.P. – Reincarnation Insurance Program has launched version 1.0 on PC via Steam after its Early Access period. The post-apocalyptic bullet heaven roguelike is priced at $14.99.

R.I.P. puts players in the role of agents working for the Reincarnation Insurance Company as they fight through areas overrun by undead enemies. Runs focus on clearing large enemy groups, collecting equipment, upgrading weapons, and combining abilities into different builds.

Version 1.0 adds a new playable agent named Ling, who specializes in close-range combat using a katana. Her moveset includes sword waves, high-speed mobility, and attacks built around cutting through large enemy groups.

The full release also adds the game’s final boss encounter and two new maps. The final confrontation is unlocked by progressing through four infected regions.

Other additions include an Endless Mode with global leaderboards and a five-minute speed run mode that offers faster loot rewards. Version 1.0 also introduces additional technology, talents, and Mythic equipment while increasing loot rates and rebalancing existing systems.

Character progression extends beyond individual runs through the Zone Collection system, where scavenged materials can be spent on permanent stat upgrades. Arcade machines at the base can also be used to earn bonus loot between runs.

Weapons can be modified with effects such as incendiary and electromagnetic rounds, while certain pieces of equipment can alter how skills function. Players can also receive divine blessings from historical figures, adding offensive, defensive, and tactical passive abilities to a build.
